Terms of Service

Effective October 28, 2026

The short version: no contract, cancel anytime, your domain and materials are always yours, and your website becomes yours after 12 payments.

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Launchpad Enterprises, LLC, doing business as Good Brand (“Good Brand,” “we,” “us”). They cover your use of goodbrand.co and any services you buy from us. By using the site or signing up for a plan, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Our services are for businesses. If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm that you’re at least 18 and authorized to bind that business, and “you” means the business.

Our services

Depending on the plan and add-ons you choose, we design, build, host, and maintain your website, manage your domain, make monthly updates, and provide add-on services such as brand identity design, AI phone answering, and Google Business Profile work. What your plan includes is described on our website and in what you choose at signup.

We design your site with you and nothing goes live until you approve it. Simple sites can be live quickly. Larger sites take longer, and we’ll give you a timeline up front.

Monthly updates

Your plan includes a set number of updates each month. One update is one focused change, such as new prices, a new photo gallery, a holiday promotion, or a reworked section. Larger requests may be split across several updates with your approval. Unused updates don’t carry over to the next month. Fixing our own mistakes never counts as an update.

Billing

  • Plans are billed monthly in advance, starting on the day you sign up. By signing up, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method each month until you cancel.
  • One-time fees, such as the brand identity add-on, are charged when you order them.
  • Prices are those shown when you sign up. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before changing what you pay, and you can cancel before the change takes effect.
  • Prices don’t include taxes. You’re responsible for any applicable taxes.
  • If a payment fails, we’ll let you know. If it isn’t resolved within 14 days, we may pause your website and other services until the balance is paid.

Cancellation

There’s no minimum term. You can cancel anytime by emailing hello@goodbrand.co. Your plan continues to the end of the month you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again. We don’t give refunds for partial months.

The brand identity fee is non-refundable once we’ve delivered the first design concepts to you.

Who owns what

Yours from day one

Your domain name, and everything you give us (your text, photos, logos, and other materials), belong to you. If we register a domain for you, we’ll transfer control of it to you whenever you ask. You give us permission to use your materials to provide our services to you.

Your website after 12 payments

After your 12th monthly plan payment, we transfer ownership of your website’s design and files to you at no extra cost. Until then, we own the website and you have the right to use it while your plan is active.

After the transfer, your payment drops to $49 a month to keep the site hosted, and you can cancel that anytime. Changes to the website after month 12 are $99 per change. If you’d like to host the site elsewhere, ask us and we’ll send you the files.

If you cancel before 12 payments

You have two options. You can simply leave, and your website goes offline at the end of your paid month. Or you can pay the remaining months up to 12, and we’ll hand everything over.

Brand identity

Once the brand identity fee is paid, the final logo and brand files we deliver to you are yours to keep.

What stays ours or belongs to others

Some parts of a website are licensed rather than owned, such as stock photos, fonts, software libraries, and plugins. Those stay under their own license terms, and we pass along whatever rights the license allows. We also keep ownership of our own tools, templates, methods, and general know-how, and we may reuse them for other clients without using your materials.

Our portfolio

We may show your website in our portfolio and marketing. If you’d rather we didn’t, tell us and we’ll remove it.

Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information and review your website before you approve it. You’re responsible for the accuracy of your prices, hours, credentials, and claims about your business.
  • Only give us materials you have the right to use.
  • Make sure your website and marketing follow the rules for your industry and location. Lawyers, healthcare and dental providers, med spas, insurance agencies, accountants, contractors, and funeral homes often have specific advertising, licensing, and disclosure rules. We build what you approve, but we aren’t your lawyer or compliance advisor.
  • Keep your account details and sign-in codes secure, and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.

AI phone answering

If you use our AI phone answering add-on:

  • You’re responsible for giving callers any notices the law requires, including notice that calls may be recorded or answered by an automated system. Some states, including California and Florida, require the consent of everyone on the call before it’s recorded.
  • The service is not for emergencies. Make sure callers with urgent needs know how to reach you or emergency services.
  • Don’t use the service to collect medical records, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive information unless we’ve agreed in writing to support that use.
  • AI answering can misunderstand callers or make mistakes. Review call summaries and confirm important details, such as appointments, with your customers.

AI-generated content and search results

We use AI tools to help design websites and write content. AI output can contain errors, so we review it with you, and nothing is published until you approve it.

We work to help search engines and AI tools understand and recommend your business, but nobody controls their results. We don’t guarantee any ranking, traffic, number of leads, or that any AI tool will recommend you.

Acceptable use

You may not use our services or your website to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, deceive customers, send spam, distribute malware, or publish content that is unlawful, harassing, or hateful. We may refuse to publish, or remove, content that violates these terms.

Third-party services

Our services rely on other companies, such as hosting providers, domain registrars, payment processors, telephone carriers, Google, and AI providers. We choose reputable providers, but we aren’t responsible for their outages, policy changes, or errors. Your use of their services may also be subject to their own terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end services if you don’t pay, if you materially break these terms, or if your website creates a legal or security risk. Except for urgent legal or security issues, we’ll email you first and give you a reasonable chance to fix the problem. If we end services without cause, we’ll give you 30 days’ notice and the files for any website you own or have fully paid for.

Disclaimers

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, the services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that your website or any service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither you nor we will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, even if warned they were possible.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to these terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.

These limits don’t apply to liability that can’t be limited by law.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims by others arising from the materials you provide, the content you approve for your website, your business’s products and services, or your violation of these terms or the law.

Disputes and governing law

If you have a concern, email hello@goodbrand.co first. We’ll try to resolve it informally within 30 days.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any lawsuit relating to these terms or our services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and both parties consent to those courts’ jurisdiction. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, email current clients at least 30 days before the changes take effect. If you keep using our services after that, the updated terms apply. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

General

These terms, together with the plan and add-ons you choose and our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about our services. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failing to enforce a term isn’t a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business. Notices to us go to hello@goodbrand.co. Notices to you go to the email address on your account.
